Schneider Electric SE is a French multinational company that specializes in digital automation and energy management. Its products and applications are homes, buildings, data centers, infrastructure, and industries, by combining energy technologies, real-time automation, software, and services.
What is a load center?
A load center is used in residential and light commercial applications to distribute electricity supplied by the utility company throughout the home or building to feed all the branch circuits. Each branch circuit is protected by the circuit breaker housed in the load center.
An overloaded panel can damage breakers, connections, and wiring, leading to arcing that creates sparks or buzzing noises, as well as a very serious risk of fire. Buzzing sounds can also be created by worn contacts, failing breakers, or excessive vibration.
