Schneider Recalls over 1.4 Million Electrical Panels
Did you know that Schneider Recalled over 1.4 Million electrical panels on June 16th, 2022?
The name of the product that was identified is Square™ D QO™ Plug-on-Neutral Load Centers, also known as, Load Centers, Breaker Boxes, Electrical PanelsThe hazard that was identified is that the load center can overheat and pose thermal burn and fire hazards.
The Consumer Product and Safety Commission states to replace or repair the panels to remedy the issue. We recommend contacting a licensed and qualified electrician to complete the work.
There were 1.4 million units that were recalled not including the 289,000 units that were also sold in Canada.

Schneider Recalls over 1.4 Million Electrical Panels Details:
The affected products sold are found at authorized Schneider Electric distributors and home improvement and hardware stores nationwide and online including Home Depot, Lowe’s, and Menard’s from February 2020 through January 2022 for between $90 and $1,660.The official recall number is 22-159. If you have or think you have one of the affected panels, please follow the remedy advised by the Consumer Product Safety Commission. There were no injuries reported and one report of an incident involving loose wiring.
